Three autobiographical sketches, two newspaper clippings from the Indianapolis news (Oct. 14, 1896) and the Indianapolis star (April 28, 1944), a typescript (carbon copy) of the biography of Thayer which appeared in Encyclopedia of American biography (New York : American Historical Co., 1943), reminiscences by his daughter, Laurel Conwell Thayer and miscellaneous pieces on the firm of Thayer & Eldridge, a genealogy, etc. and photographs of L.C. and W.W. Thayer.
